As usual we've been pretty busy making headway. After the kitchen counters went in, I got busy adding pretty stuff in that space that makes me feel all happy. lol I'll post more recent pics of the kitchen in a couple days.

Then, Charles got my pantry finished. LOVE IT! Don't have pics of this yet, more later on that.

And tonight, we got the guest room (otherwise known as Mimi's room) put together somewhat. We put the new futon up (it folds down to make a bed). We added the side tables from the old living room set. I will be sanding these down and painting them black. I will also be sanding the wood colored entertainment center and painting it black. The room will be tan, black and cream. :) It's going to be all cozy! When there are no guests, we are using it as a cozy classroom for homeschooling. The kids will sit, each one at a side table to do their school and I'll be on the futon going in between them. We can't WAIT to start this tomorrow b/c we can spread out and get a bit more comfy and each kid will organize their space the way they want. So here are some pics.........

the lightening at night is more like this...... warm and inviting!

I can't wait to get my 'stuff' on the walls and paint the side tables and get the entertainment center in so that when the kids want to watch TV they can just hang out here. :)

You likey?? lol

Not letting the grass grow under our feet!
