House #6

By house #6, I mean that this is our 6th offer on a house. We have actually gone into around 45 houses w/ our Realtor. We've also taken days to drive by houses to check out neighborhoods BEFORE calling our Realtor, so all told, we have sifted through about 120 houses.

I know...crazy.

Ok so here is house #6. It was purchased last in the 80's and as you might see, they have done nothing since! It is SO old inside, EVERYTHING needs to be replaced..literally. All of the walls need attention, new carpet, we are tiling the kitchen, hallways, bathrooms, dining room. We are gutting the kitchen all the way, etc etc. But it is 4 bedroom and has the most potential of all the older homes we considered that needed updating as well. And it is in the Village, which is a great place to be in Lompoc, and is just so peaceful. The only down side is the age of the houses.

These pics aren't great, but you can see the detached garage on the right and a walkway to the front door in the middle. The outside of this house needs to painted as you can also see.

That's all the pics I have for now of this house. Stay tuned for the progress on the closing of the house (hopefully) and the remodel to follow.
